Giving back to animal rescue

VIEW ALL OF OUR MONTHLY ANIMAL RESCUE SPONSORSHIPS

At Happy Spritz, it is our mission to give back to animal rescue organizations, efforts and causes, something that we are very passionate about.

Happy Spritz not only donates to rescue groups throughout North American, but we also make "pledges" on social media that can have a huge impact on the dogs chance of getting rescued + adopted from the high kill shelter system. You can read more about individual stories and our monthly rescue sponsorships on our Giving Page and follow our journey on Instagram where we share our rescue stories.

Our two monthly rescue partners are Muttville Senior rescue from San Francisco, California and Love Leo Rescue from Los Angeles.

Muttville works tireless to rescue senior dogs (aged 7+) from high kill shelters around the Bay area. Sadly, seniors are the first to be euthanized in the shelter system and often times just because of their age. We love that Muttville and their founder Sherrie are up for the challenge and so far they saved over 9,500 seniors.

Love Leo is a small team from LA and many of the dogs that they rescue are sick, injured, abandoned and forgotten. They have a soft spot for dogs that need special medical care in order to make it out of the shelter. They know most adopters will not be able to adopt a dog from the shelter that needs a costly orthopedic surgery, or a puppy that is ill with parvo. They believe these dogs deserve a second chance. In addition to their rescue work, they host free/low cost spay and neuter programs in an underserved area of LA (South El Monte). They also host clinics in Tijuana Mexico. Rescuing one dog at a time is important and heartwarming work but – the more important thing to make a difference in the pet overpopulation crisis is by providing spay and neuter services to those who need it.

We thank you for your support! Together we can become the voice for those who do not have one.
