Happy Pet Rescue Donates To Montreal SPCA

Last week the city of Montreal passed a controversial law that would ban all Pit Bulls or any dog even resembling a "bully breed" within the cities 19 boroughs. This ban would force hundreds of bully breed dogs in shelters to be labeled un-adoptable and then euthanized and would put thousands of family owned pets at serious risk.

We strongly believe that the Pit Bull breed is very misrepresented and the discrimination that they faced based out of fear and not fact is purely unjust. They're some of the most lovable dogs that we have come across and to be issued a death sentence because of physical appearance is just sickening.

As many of you know, a portion of our proceeds go to benefit animal rescue and welfare so when we heard about this outrageous ban we made a donation to the Montreal SPCA to go towards with their $60,000 fee to file an injunction.

WELL... the GREAT news is today a judge suspended the Montreal Pit Bull ban indefinitely while the SPCA continues their fight, which is a great victory and a big step in the fight.

You can help by signing the petition here to stop the ban.  Your signature has a powerful impact and this is one way you can add your voice to the cause.
